Sports Desk:

Bangladesh ODI skipper Shakib al Hasan is taken to hospital for scan, said Bangladesh Cricket Board official on Friday night.

It is understood that Shakib was taken to hospital after he completed his quota of 10 over against New Zealand.

New Zealand won the game by eight wickets.

 

Shakib scored 40 runs while picked up 1-54.

“He is having a scan as he hurt his left quad,” said BCB officials adding that they can make a call after assessing his condition.
